About ToyRelay
Kids grow fast, and somehow, so does the cost of keeping up with them. A toy they couldn't put down last year may be sitting untouched today, while another family is looking for exactly that thing.
ToyRelay was created to make it easier for good toys and children's books to move from one family to another. Clear a little space, save a few dollars, and maybe score a great find along the way.
And every time something gets another round of play instead of being thrown away, that's a little less waste too.
What we do
ToyRelay is a hyperlocal marketplace for gently used toys and children's books. Find what your kids are into, see what's available close to home, and choose to buy or swap.
Sell what your family has outgrown. Pick up something your child will love for less. Or trade something you no longer need for something you do.
Relay Points
Local businesses partner with ToyRelay as Relay Points, giving buyers and sellers a convenient place to exchange purchases.
The seller drops off the package at the selected Relay Point, and the buyer collects it when it suits them. No coordinating doorstep meetups, missed calls or endless back-and-forth. Once an item is purchased, it's reserved for that buyer while the transaction moves through ToyRelay.
No wondering whether someone is still interested, no juggling multiple buyers, and no need to share your home address.
Protection
When you pay through ToyRelay, your payment is held while the transaction is completed. After collecting your purchase, you have an inspection window to make sure it matches the listing.
If something isn't as described, report the issue through ToyRelay before the inspection window ends. We'll review it before the seller's funds are released.
Swapping
Have something another family might love? Offer one of your own listings in exchange. If the values don't quite match, you can include a cash top-up and arrange to meet in person to complete the swap.
